Omijima Island Sightseeing Cruise

Omijima Island off the coast of Yamaguchi, is at the center of Kita-Nagato Quasi-National Park. The island has a number of striking rock formations, cliffs, and caves, and these are known collectively as the “Maritime Alps.” One of the best ways to see the formations is by boat. Sightseeing boats depart from the Omijima Kanko Kisen boat pier in Nagato City. Routes depend on the weather and the tides, and take around 50 to 80 minutes.
