Ehime Onmaku Festival

Onmaku refers to the meaning of "dramatic and messed up" in the Imabari dialect. As the name suggests, each city and town are united to hold various events for two days, mainly at Imabari Port and its surroundings. A display of ten thousand fireworks is the finale highlight. Visitors can admire the fireworks that light up one after another in the night dark sky on the back of Shimanami Kaido.
