Iya-no-Kazurabashi Suspension Bridge

Iya-no-Kazurabashi is a suspension bridge constructed using hardy vines that grow naturally in the Iya Valley region of Tokushima. The bridge is 45 meters long and 2 meters wide. Suspended 14 meters above the Iya River, it was once the sole means of crossing the deep canyon in this remote, mountainous area. As you cross the bridge, you can catch a glimpse of the water below through the wooden slats. The bridge is illuminated at night, creating a magical ambiance.
