Kagawa Sanuki Takamatsu Festival

Held for three days from August 12 to August 14 every year, visitors can visit this summer festival at Chuo Park, Chuo Street, or Sunport Takamatsu. The "Dondon Takamatsu Festival" is the largest firework show in Shikoku. On the final day of the festival, a dancing parade is performed by dancers in festive attire called "Sou-odori." This dance calls an end to the three day festival and the celebration is enthusiastic, and enchanting.
