Manekineko Art Museum
Maneki-neko, or beckoning cats, are a popular symbol of luck and good fortune in Japan. A collection of over 800 of these cat figures welcomes visitors to Manekineko Art Museum in Kanayamaji, Okayama. There are lucky cats for sale, and you can enjoy a painting experience to decorate a unique maneki-neko to take home. The museum can accommodate group tours of up to 100 people and can arrange the painting experience for groups of up to 50 people.
