Tatsuno Castle Town
Much of the original townscape around seventeenth-century Tatsuno Castle in Tatsuno City has been preserved, giving visitors a sense of how the city looked in the Edo period (1603–1867). Traditional white-walled storehouses, merchant houses, and samurai residences remain, along with buildings from the early Showa era (1926–1989).
