Hiroshima Ota-ke House
This historical building represents the architecture of the modern merchant houses in Tomo-cho, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima. It consists of a main residence and an annex, "Ota-ke House Chosotei" opposite the main house. This building used to be the residence of the Nakamura Family, who ran the brewery buisiness and specialized in salted liqure "Homeisyu," which is a local product of Tomo-cho. Along with nine buildings, the main residences, Homeisyu Breweries, and three Chosotei houses, these historical sites have been designated as Important Cultural Property.
