Yamaguchi Shimonoseki City Aquarium Kaikyokan

This aquarium is filled with local highlights such as an exhibit containing more than 100 species of blowfish, a 900 ton tank that replicates the tides of the Kanmon Straits, and an aqua theater featuring performances with dolphins and sealions. At the penguin pool, guests can see the penguins swimming from both above and below the water. Guests can experience the fish and penguins fed daily as well, just check the feeding schedule when visiting.
